There seems to be a Wayfair sale running at any given moment, yet we still feel drawn like a moth to the mega–home e-tailer’s flame whenever it announces a “new” promotion. The current Surplus Sale—offering up to 60% off its already heavily discounted stock—is ripe with markdowns on the usual suspects: area rugs, lighting, living room furniture, etc. Our secret to sourcing the worthiest deals from the often overwhelming site is to go straight for our Domino-featured favorites. Below, discover a curated lineup of Wayfair sale items that have graced the likes of everything from our most noteworthy home tours to renovation profiles to shopping guides. Highlights include an almost-sold-out wavy headboard, matte black Adirondack chairs, and a few futuristic bathroom accessories.
This contemporary reader favorite takes the cake for a vanity that gives luxury bathroom vibes without the price tag. The top-purchased product featured in our roundup of the best bathroom vanities, Wayfair’s design does a well-reviewed job of pairing function with fashion—thanks to its spacious cabinets with recessed drawers, vertical detailing, and a faux marble top to set off the sinks and accompanying mini backsplash. Available in simple but elevated white, blue, and gray colorways, fans of the vanity emphasize its “solid quality” that they swear “looks even better in person.”

Since the Goop queen’s launch of her $999 CB2 bouclé chair, we’ve clocked many a Gwyneth Paltrow–esque cozy swivel seat popping up at retailers across the Internet—but with much more palatable price tags in tow. Although not quite as cheap as Walmart’s $279 nod to the retro-mod style, we find Wayfair’s top-rated version exudes a more elegant coziness, thanks to its ivory upholstery and huglike silhouette. It comes in a wider range of colorways, as well: a ’70s-evocative brown, stormy gray, forest green, and minimalist-friendly taupe. As one reviewer boldly attests, “This chair is so comfortable! I get compliments about it a lot. It’s the perfect dupe to the Gwyneth bouclé chair.”

Our jaws dropped after learning that the fluted fixtures dangling inside House + Flower author Cynthia Zamaria’s Toronto digs weren’t, in fact, sourced from an expensive British interior designer—they’re from Wayfair. We love how the petal-like ceramic pendant lamps paired with their rich black chains provide a dramatic contrast to create the perfect mix of traditional and modern.

After spotting this delightfully wavy headboard inside the envious bedroom of Reserve Home’s Mallory Fletchall, our digital director, Lindsey Mather, kind of wanted to keep the excellent Wayfair score all to herself. With only three out of the eight colorways still in stock, it seems that word of this bedroom gem is already out. Crafted from durable plywood and MDF, padded with supportive foam, and covered in stain-resistant performance velvet, the headboard is a sturdy purchase. Another detail worth mentioning: The frame is adjustable, which allows for multiple mounting positions to fit the needs of your bed height and wall space.

Caroline McKay chose Wayfair’s matte black Adirondack chairs to match the moody but modern exterior of her A-frame Catskills cabin. Crafted from weather-resistant, high-density polyethylene materials, the chair is better suited to endure year-round exposure than a wood alternative. Reviewers tout it as sturdy, stylish, and comfortable. According to one, the chair is “not as sloped as traditional Adirondacks,” making it easier to get get in and out of.

On our hunt for the best hidden litter box furniture, we unearthed this Scandi-modern–style Wayfair gem. The double-entryway design is useful in multi-cat households, providing ample space for felines to comfortably enter and exit. More than one reviewer expressed appreciation for the built-in storage shelves, where you can stash litter scoops, bags, and liners. The cherry on top? A roomy roof bench for perching, napping, and people watching rounds out this cat-friendly design.

The retro-rustic aesthetic of this chiminea charmed Domino editors and readers alike. Crafted from black-finished steel, the wood-burning fireplace features elevated legs that minimize the risk of damaging supporting surfaces. Outfitted with a 19-inch-wide belly and 5.75-inch-wide pipe that work to sufficiently funnel smoke, it’s a safer option for confined outdoor spaces.

The monochromatic bathroom in model and designer Taylor Lashae’s Brooklyn apartment sparked our obsession with Robern’s innovative number. It contains three adjustable glass shelves and a set of self-closing hinges for safe, controlled opening and closing. The defogger clears away steam and a Bluetooth-enabled sound system pumps tunes. It’s all very The Future.
