Grant was born on the 21st of March in the year 1958 to Curtis Louis Cardone and Concetta Niel Cardone. He was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to twins and is the fourth of five siblings. His twin brother is Gary Cardone.
Grant went to LaGrange High School for his schooling and McNeese State University for graduation. He pursued a degree in Bachelor of Science and graduated in 1981. In the year 2010, he was also awarded the ‘McNeese State University Distinguished Alumnus Award’

In the year 2004, Grant married Elena Lyons, of Spanish origin. The two are known to share a beautiful relationship onscreen and in real life. The couple also has two daughters, Scarlett and Sabrina Cardone.

In the year 1987, Grant moved to Chicago, Illinois, and then started working in a sales training company. He continued travelling and changing locations across America. He briefly lived in Houston, Texas, before shifting to La Jolla, California and stayed there for 12 years, shifting later to L.A. one of his houses also featured in ‘How’d You Get So Rich?’
He decided to shift to the automobile industry and left accounting. He later ended up becoming the CEO of Freedom Motorsports Group Inc. He also worked with Atlas Media Corp and contributed to developing the reality series ‘Turnaround King’, which aired on television in 2011.
Grant has authored seven books from multiple genres, ‘The Closer’s Survival Guide,’ ‘The Millionaire Booklet,’ ‘Sell or Survive,’ ‘If you’re not first you’re last,’ ‘The 10 X rule’, ‘Sell or be Sold,’ and ‘Obsessed – 100 ways to grow your business’. We can make out that most of these books are based on sales training and explain ways of expanding and growing. His book ‘If you’re not first, you’re last’ was number 1 on Amazon and also became a part of The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal’s ‘Best Seller List.’
Grant owns multiple multi-millionaire companies like; Cardone Training Technologies, The Cardone Group, Cardone Enterprises, and, last but not least, Cardone Acquisitions. Only the real estate value held by Grant today amounts to $350 million. He has also been named as ‘1 of the 25 Marketing Influencers to Watch’ for the year 2017 that too by Forbes.
Grant has membership in the Church of Scientology as well, one of the companies he worked for, Freedom Motorsports, also sponsored the NASCAR drivers to help them promote Scientology and Dianetics.
