So you know a Triad commercial real estate professional worthy of Triad Business Journal’s Deal Maker award, but time got away from you? Or you meant to nominate a property for one of our Best Projects awards, but ran out of time?
We have some great news. Triad Business Journal has extended the deadline for our Commercial Real Estate and Best Projects Awards until close of business, Monday, Sept. 26.
Triad Business Journal’s Deal Maker awards for commercial real estate brokers and agents are decided based on dollar volume, both in terms of sales and leases, across multiple categories: retail, office, industrial, land and apartments. Deals must have been completed in 2021.
The Deal Maker nomination is a two-step process. To submit a nomination, click here. Once that is submitted, a transaction form will be sent to verify the 2021 numbers. As was the case last year, we will be working from aggregated totals and will continue to protect individual transaction details. Leases, for example, can be a significant portion of an individual broker’s year and need to be considered, but we won’t be publishing specifics that could reveal a given transaction’s lease rate, term, etc.
We are also again seeking nominations for the Rising Star award, recognizing an outstanding broker with less than five years in the industry. Those nominations can be submitted at the same link for individual Deal Maker awards.
Our CRE Awards also extend beyond the brokerage sector. We will recognize the Best Projects of 2021 across multiple categories.
Projects should have received their certificate of occupancy in 2021. If you’ve been part of a construction project that you feel is worthy, we encourage you to consider nominating. Brokers are encouraged to work in tandem with a developer/contractor on nominations of projects.
Click here to nominate a project.
TBJ will decide the number of honorees based on the pool of nominations.
Need inspiration? See last year’s CRE Awards section here. Winners and finalists will also be honored with a reception, similar to the one reflected here through our event photos from last year.
Join TBJ for a series concentrating on the downtowns of the three largest cities. We will continue the series with a concentration on downtown Winston-Salem.
Help us recognize leading CRE projects throughout the region. Nominate today!
