Anne Arundel County-based Murphy Commercial Real Estate has merged with Hyatt Commercial and The Reliable Group, it was announced Wednesday.
Since its inception in 1999, Murphy Commercial has specialized in commercial sales and leasing throughout Maryland with a focus on retail, restaurant, office, medical, warehouse and flex properties representing tenants, landlords, buyers and sellers.
Hyatt Commercial, founded in 1961, provides commercial real estate brokerage services and property management throughout the mid-Atlantic as part of the real estate services company of The Reliable Group. In combining Hyatt and Murphy, the company further solidifies itself as the largest commercial real estate brokerage company based in Anne Arundel County.
Dennis Murphy and his team will join Hyatt and The Reliable Group in its recently relocated offices on Riva Road in Annapolis. He will continue to serve his clients and his team as a leader of the newly merged companies.
Murphy, the founder of Murphy Commercial, has served on the Corporate Council of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the Maryland Stadium Authority, the Washington Advisory Board for SunTrust Bank and as president of Smithy Braedon in Washington.
Formed in 2021 with an ownership group made of experienced real-estate owners and service providers; The Reliable Group’s operating companies, Hyatt Commercial, Hyatt Property Management, Reliable Commercial Construction, Reliable Real Estate Services, and Chesapeake Fine Homes, offer a spectrum of services to client in the mid-Atlantic including brokerage, property management, general contracting and land development.
