Quadrum Global, the real estate development and investment firm behind Arlo Hotels, has unveiled The Huron, a two-tower condominium development at 29 Huron St. in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
Designed by Morris Adjmi Architects, The Huron features 171 for-sale residences, ranging from studios to four bedrooms, with views of New York City and more than 23,000 square feet of private outdoor space among 67 residences.
The Huron comprises two 13-story towers connected by a brick base that contain amenities totaling 30,000 square feet. There is an 8,000-square-foot private park and playground above a brick podium base on the second level, called the Treehouse Playground due to its elevation and design. Rooftops on the West Tower and the East Tower will offer private outdoor amenity spaces with lounge furniture, BBQs and a sprawling lawn.
Morris Adjmi designed The Huron with an H-shaped two-tower configuration to be reminiscent of a ship with two smoke stacks. A brick podium and gridded façade were inspired by the waterfront neighborhood’s history of maritime industry and manufacturing.
Residences will have ceiling heights over nine feet, with most in excess of 10 feet and some as high as 14-feet-8-inches. The homes feature wide-plank European engineered oak hardwood floors and a VRF climate control system. Kitchens are designed with Italian Dolit marble with imported washed walnut wood cabinetry and Miele appliances. Select residences feature an inset marble waterfall island and wine refrigerators.
Sales and marketing at The Huron will be led by Ryan Serhant’s brokerage, Serhant. Residences come to market this fall and occupancy is slated for late 2023.
