Speaking about her journey, Maya Bernaia says how at the naïve age of 4, she had started offering things for sale, coming from a humble family background in Ukraine. She grew up with great values and always valued a high education, which led her to do an MBA in strategic management and a PhD in international relations. Today, she serves as the proud Founder and CEO of IAmFuture, which has emerged as a unique strategic solutions company, offering entrepreneurs with marketing, strategy, development, and consultation services in regard to Metaverse. The business owner, who also is considered a pioneer of many things in the industry as a woman professional, always believed that the future of the digital space invariably would remain brighter, and as she discovered there would be new tools for marketing and commercialization, she jumped into the opportunity and reached a prominent place in the industry with her company.
Maya Bernaia is also proud of how she developed one of the creative offshoots from the platform called Metarollers, which is a skill-based and creativity-based game for mobile platforms, a unique tribute to the Rollerskating community across the world. Explaining about the same, she says that in the game, the player skates across cityscapes around the cities of the world, enjoying the many obstacles and hurdles along their path while also collecting artefacts and performing tricks in a colourful and entertaining manner and collecting them to also use them to get NFTs that can be traded globally.
This serves as a huge opportunity for players to socialize, do tricks, interact, meet celebrities, and, most importantly, have fun. Metarollers, which is her ambitious project, is soon to be launched by the end of September 2022, where Metarollers skating through the Metaverse will operate beyond the standard Play-2-earn game infrastructure. Here game rewards will be transferred to something having real-world value, functioning as “Perform-2-earn.” With this game, she has dived deeper into the Web3 world, she confesses, as she sees tremendous opportunities for improving lives, individual development, and connection of income and creativity.
Maya Bernaia, very early in her career had, started learning about the Web3 dynamics, which has helped her earn the edge over others in the industry, rising up and above as a high-performing and talented tech expert who holds a massive understanding of blockchain, NFTs and everything revolving around the Web3 world. This has thrust her forward in the industry bringing self-development to the space while also making sure to help others thrive in the same. A firm believer in Sir W. Churchill’s words that ‘responsibility is the price of greatness,’ she has always worked towards working around newer and bold ideas and making constant innovations in the industry.
